According to the party’s roadmap, TVK aims to capture seats in the state assembly to form a government.

Vijay, who is one of the highest-paid actors in the Indian film industry, has reportedly declared that his upcoming film Leo will be his final acting venture. For this film, he has reportedly taken ₹250 crore as his remuneration. Starting his acting career in his first film for just ₹500, Vijay has acted in 68 films over the last 30 years, including hits like Mersal, Sarkar, Leo, and Thalapathy. In his private life, Vijay is married to Sangeeta Sornalingam, a woman of Tamil descent living in Sri Lanka, and they have two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Saasha.
