Two students from Furkating College, Garima Gogoi and Shyamali Borahbaruah, have earned a spot in the Indian team to participate in the upcoming International Karate Championship, which will be held in Oslo, Norway, starting from July 1st.
In the South Asian Karate Championship held this past April at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, Garima secured the first position and Shyamali secured the second position in Kumite. Based on this achievement, both of them have earned the opportunity to represent India.
The college fraternity has extended their best wishes to both of them.
