Uber is set to establish its first data center in India in collaboration with the Adani Group. This partnership was announced last Wednesday by Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi. Following a meeting with Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, the CEO stated: “At a time when India is emerging as a leading hub for innovation, we are preparing to set up our first data center in the country in collaboration with the Adani Group.”
According to the CEO, who is on a five-day visit to India, the data center project is expected to be operational by the end of this year. During this visit, the CEO is also scheduled to meet several Union and State Ministers of India.
