A two-day inter-battalion and group center level volleyball tournament under the North-Eastern Sector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was held on May 15 and 16 at the headquarters campus of the 175 Battalion, located in Rani on the western outskirts of Guwahati.
A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament, including ten battalions under the CRPF North-Eastern Sector, along with the Headquarter Quarter Guwahati and Silchar Group Centers.
In the highly exciting final match held on the evening of May 16, the 121 Battalion defeated the 175 Battalion to claim the title of ultimate champion. At the concluding ceremony organized for the tournament, Rajeev Kumar Jha, Commandant of the 175 Battalion, distributed prizes to both the winning and runner-up teams.
