Under the initiative of the Guwahati City Chess Association, the Guwahati City Under-9 Boys and Girls Chess Championship will be held on May 23 and 24 at the Borbari-based Guwahati Chess Academy.
Players under the age of 9 from the Kamrup (Metro) district will be eligible to participate in this competition. From this competition, the Guwahati team will be selected for the All Assam Inter-District Chess Championship.
