Golaghat District Referee Association Announces Results of Football Referee Preliminary Exam and Annual Physical Fitness Test. The Golaghat District Referee Association, under the guidance of the Golaghat District Sports Association, has announced the results of the preliminary examination for football referees held on May 3. According to Thaneswar Bora, President of the District Referee Association, and Secretary Sushanta Bora, 11 candidates have successfully passed the examination, demonstrating their knowledge and understanding of the game. The successful candidates are Riki Baitha, Arabinda Bora, Montu Das, Montu Bhuyan, Prasen Roy, Abhishek Kaushik, Jabin Bora, Binand Tanti, Bijoy Karmakar, Prabakar Bora, and Abhilash Mishra.
In addition to the written examination, the association also conducted an annual physical fitness test for referees, which saw the participation of numerous officials. A total of 22 referees emerged successful in the physical fitness test, showcasing their endurance and physical capabilities. The successful referees include Sushanta Bora, Ashim Gowala, Sahajul Ali, Bittu Chhetri, Subhajit Gogoi, Sourabh Gogoi, Shantanu Bora, Debajit Borah, Subraj Ekka, Aklenias Khara, Kailash Tanti, Kamal Ganjhu, Pankaj Kurmi, Abhijit Bora, Dipti Rajwar, Sanjeev Mishra, Apurba Bora, Babul Saikia, Gagan, Khagen Mushahary, Jitesh Kalita, and Rajesh Ganjhu.
The examination process was overseen by prominent officials, including Sanjeev Rajbongshi, Vice President of the Golaghat District Sports Association and Referee-in-Charge, Ajay Bharali, Vice President of the Assam Football Association and Referee Association Advisor, Biman Bora, Referee Association Advisor, and Bubul Bharali, Football Secretary. Their presence underscored the importance of the event and the commitment of the association to promoting football in the region.
