India’s experienced fast bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, has etched his name into the record books during the IPL. In yesterday’s match against the Chennai Super Kings, the pacer took his 200th IPL wicket by dismissing Chennai’s Ayush Badoni.
It is worth noting that he has become only the second bowler in the history of the IPL to reach the 200-wicket milestone. Previously, in the long history of the IPL, only Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal had crossed the 200-wicket mark. This leading Indian leg-spinner has so far managed to take 224 wickets in 176 matches.
On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who holds the second spot on this list, has taken 202 wickets in 192 matches played so far. Additionally, Sunil Narine, who is third on the list of highest wicket-takers, has taken 193 wickets to date.
