In recognition of their hard work, the association today announced a cash reward of 25 lakh rupees for the staff involved.
Operating under challenging weather conditions, the curators and groundsmen maintained the pitches to a high standard and ensured proper maintenance. Their efforts were instrumental in the smooth completion of the matches.
In all three matches held in Guwahati this time, rain posed a significant obstacle. However, the ground staff earned widespread praise for making the field and pitch ready for play within just half an hour after the rain stopped.
