Youth Participate in PM Modi’s Virtual Interaction under Viksit Vibrant Village Programme 2026

A virtual interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi under the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme (VVP) 2026 was held at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, on July 26, 2026. The programme witnessed the participation of 20 attendees, including youth representatives from Kohima district who had actively taken part in VVP 2026.
According to a DIPR report, the nationwide interaction focused on the role of youth in strengthening the vision of Viksit Bharat through active participation in the development of India’s border villages. During the session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the efforts of the participants and highlighted the strategic importance of border areas in the country’s progress and security.
The Prime Minister also emphasised the importance of preserving the rich cultural heritage of border communities and encouraged young participants to become ambassadors of national integration, community development, and self-reliance. He urged the youth to continue contributing towards inclusive growth and the overall development of vibrant villages along India’s borders.
The participants joined the live interaction with enthusiasm and expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to connect with the Prime Minister. The programme concluded on an inspiring note, encouraging the youth to remain actively involved in nation-building initiatives and work towards the holistic development of India’s border regions.
