The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a comprehensive state-level workshop on ‘Sewa Sankalp Utsav 2026’ at the DK Convention Centre in Itanagar, bringing together key party leaders, ministers, and functionaries. Attended by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, State BJP President Kaling Moyong, and Arunachal BJP in-charge Ashok Singhal, the session centered on preparing the party organization for a month-long public outreach campaign running from September 17 to October 17. The initiative aims to commemorate 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service by highlighting the extensive infrastructure and developmental transformations achieved across India and the Northeast, particularly improvements in telecommunication, road, digital, and air connectivity resulting from the ‘Act East’ policy. During the workshop, Chief Minister Khandu emphasized the responsibility of party members to educate younger generations about the dramatic shifts that have occurred during the Modi era. Attendees also tuned into the live broadcast of the Prime Minister’s 137th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ which covered key national themes such as cleanliness, women-led entrepreneurship, PM SVANidhi, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Following the workshop, an extended state executive meeting, cabinet session, and core group gathering were held to map out community engagement activities, including literary, painting, and quiz competitions, all designed to advance the vision of a Viksit Bharat through dedicated public service.
