To allow fans to enjoy the ongoing IPL matches, an IPL Fan Park will be set up at the Golaghat Stadium on May 9 and 10. Arrangements have been made to screen the match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans on May 9, and the matches between Lucknow Super Giants vs. Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 10.
Huge screens will be installed at the stadium for these screenings. This information was shared by Sandeep Khagal, Senior Manager of the BCCI Events Department, during a press conference held at the conference hall of the Golaghat District Sports Association.
He mentioned that on May 9 and 10, besides Golaghat, Fan Parks will also be organized in Rajkot (Gujarat), Himachal Pradesh (Mandi), Puducherry, and Karnataka (Udupi). The official stated that the objective of these screenings is to provide entertainment for everyone, from children to the elderly.
Entry to the stadium to watch the matches will be free of charge. However, attendees must register before entering the stadium.
