Chris Gayle is set to be seen in a new role. The former West Indies star has associated himself with a team in the European T20 League. Gayle has become one of the co-owners of the Glasgow franchise.
Another co-owner of this franchise is Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan. The European T20 League will be held from August 26 to September 30 of this year. A total of 33 matches will be played in this six-team tournament. The matches will be held in Europe’s Glasgow, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, and Rotterdam.
Gayle will be seen in the role of a team owner in this new league. Abhishek Bachchan has welcomed Gayle, one of the greatest batters in T20 cricket. There are also reports of former Indian stars Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble purchasing teams in this competition.
