Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the updated 2026 Verna, priced between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom). This refreshed midsize sedan introduces over 25 significant updates, including a bolder exterior featuring a black chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, and new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin has been elevated with premium touches such as leatherette upholstery, a D-cut steering wheel, and advanced comfort features like 8-way power-adjustable driver seats with memory functions and ventilated front seats. Available in six variants (HX2 to HX10), the Verna remains a strong contender in its segment, offering the longest wheelbase and widest stance among its rivals.
On the performance and safety front, the 2026 Verna continues to offer two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol producing 160 PS. A major highlight of this update is the integration of Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS, which provides 20 advanced driver assistance functions. Complementing this is a comprehensive safety suite of over 75 features, including seven airbags, a 360-degree surround-view monitor, and an integrated dashcam. Tech enthusiasts will appreciate the dual 10.25-inch screens, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and over 70 connected car features, making the new Verna a highly sophisticated choice for young, aspirational buyers.
